We offer the finest upscale consignment furniture available in Austin and Central Texas. Each piece is inspected and pre-approved before it is admitted to our 4000 square foot showroom.

You can shop with confidence that everything here is clean, stylish, solid, and in good repair.  (In short, it must rank at least 8 on a 10 point scale.) We focus on timeless style and well-respected brands like Century, Baker, Henredon, Ethan Allen, Pottery Barn, Bernhardt, and many others. But, you will also find unique one-of-a-kind pieces and artisan creations that simply aren’t available anywhere else.

Unlike thrift stores, garage sales, or Craigslist finds, our merchandise is displayed in creative, inspiring vignettes. Each piece is ready to hold its own in the most refined home design—just as it is. No need to “fix it up”…unless your creative side just wants to play!

When we created Design It With Consignment, we knew that fine furniture deserves fine surroundings—regardless of whether it is new, used, or simply pre-owned. We also knew that clients who appreciate fine furniture would be best served by professionals who truly understand furniture.

Our staff has decades of experience and we know how to determine which pieces will hold up well in an active household, and which would be better suited to quieter spaces. In addition, each of us has a passion for creative design that expresses the homeowner’s style and holds its value over time.

1)      Going the Extra Mile:

Consumers who are new to consignment shopping are often a little cautious about it. Believe it or not, we understand that feeling! (In fact, the owner’s bio describes her dubious reaction the first time she was introduced to consignment furniture shopping.)  Design It With Consignment was specifically developed to help new shoppers (and consignors) feel comfortable with the experience.

We look, feel, and act like a “regular” furniture and décor boutique. In fact, the most common reaction we get when someone walks in the shop for the first time is, “Where is all the used furniture?” Other ways we make consignment shopping easier:

ü      We accept all major credit cards,

ü      We have a layaway program,

ü      We allow you to return merchandise that doesn’t work for you (within limits),

ü      And we even have delivery service available.

Further, we save you time and money by posting our inventory on this site every week. This allows our regular shoppers to browse through the new offerings from the comfort of their own homes (or offices…we don’t judge) and call us right away if they find something they must have. If we find a special closeout deal, or hold a model home sale, insiders know a subscription to our newsletter will let them know first-hand when the new goodies are coming.

Or, if you are “on the hunt” for something really specific, please fill out our wish-list form, and our computerized inventory system will send us a signal when we receive an item that might be a good match.  (Note: Our wish-list regulars can attest, some sought-after items don’t make it out of the back room…they get sold before anyone else knows they are there!)
